Dognapping in Vietnam

vietnamese dogs in saigon

Listen!

Listen to this audioboo about dognapping in Vietnam. I forgot to mention that sometimes it is too easy for the thieves, because most dogowners don't really care about where their dogs are and what they do. So they roam around or sit in front of the house, easy to catch.

we had our dog stolen on the eve of our wedding, over 9 years ago. the dog had followed us out of the house gate unknowingly and when we came back it was nowhere to be seen. we asked around the neighbourhood and got it back for a fee of vnd1m (worth about 75 bucks back then!). We're quite sure the next door neighbour had picked it up and taken it into his house then said someone else had taken the dog. Anyway the Mrs was very glad to have it back particularly as our wedding was the next day.
